FR Element 2 and HRS accelerate the development of hydrogen mobility in the UK
As part of the creation of the pioneering hydrogen centre at Teesside Airport (Darlington, UK), HRS is supplying a hydrogen refueling station to Element 2.
The project involves the refueling of commercial vans, cars and airport support vehicles. This initiative will enrich the region’s refuelling infrastructure with a supply of green hydrogen, aiming for a substantial annual saving of 240,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions.
Following this initial collaboration, Element 2 has renewed its trust in HRS by signing a letter of intent for the supply of an HRS14 dual-pressure mobile hydrogen station for the Glasgow region in Scotland. This solution, designed to be easily transportable, could be installed at a new site in just ten days. This would be the fourth station deployed by HRS in the UK. This project would be part of Element 2's ambition to develop a network of 50 hydrogen stations across the UK within five years, and would illustrate the convergence of the two partners' commitments to decarbonising mobility.
