HRS > Realisations > Renewable hydrogen refueling station in Dunkirk
HRS provides a 500 kg/day hydrogen refueling solution as part of the SHYMED project for SPAC (Colas Group) in Dunkirk.
As part of the SHYMED project (Hydrogen Solution for Electric Mobility in Dunkirk) led by Hynamics, the Urban Community of Dunkirk and the Caisse des Dépôts et des Consignations, the project manager SPAC (Colas Group) entrusts HRS with the supply of a 500 kg / day hydrogen refueling solution.
This solution aims to supply up to ten buses with renewable hydrogen, as well as the collection vehicles of the Urban Community of Dunkirk.
This ultimately means that 1,137 tons of CO2 per year will be avoided.
HRS is designing and installing 2 HRS14 stations for a renewable hydrogen distribution point on the Dunkerque energy recovery hub site.
The versatile station supplies various types of heavy vehicles with green H2 produced on site, including around ten hydrogen buses in the urban area.
With a capacity of 500 kg / day, the first station with a capacity of > 200 kg will be installed by HRS in autumn 2024, ahead of the next rollout of the first 1 tonne/day stations (HRS40) at the end of 2024.
Versatile, flexible and with proven reliability, the HRS14 station is the best-selling station in our range. This dual-pressure station is compatible with a wide range of applications.
