HRS > Realisations > Green hydrogen refueling station for a supermarket logistics centre
HRS installed a station for hydrogen refueling of a fleet of forklifts in a supermarket logistics centre in France.
The American firm Plug Power, a pioneer in fuel cells, ordered a special H2 station from HRS for refueling a fleet of forklifts in a supermarket logistics centre.
As part of its sustainable development strategy, the supermarket procured a fleet of handling equipment running on green hydrogen.
HRS developed and supplied a specially adapted solution for H2 refueling of small logistics vehicles equipped with Plug Power fuel cells.
HRS started up this station for daily green H2 refueling of the logistics centre's forklifts at a pressure of 350 bar in the first half of 2022.
To support Plug Power's ambitious European development plan, which includes the opening of new client handling sites in the coming months, HRS will supply a further five stations to be deployed in Europe: In the UK, the Netherlands, Spain and France.
Plug is delighted to be partnering with HRS, which has proven expertise in designing and integrating hydrogen refueling solutions. This partnership will support our impressive growth, especially in Europe, and will help our clients to transition towards the green solutions offered by Plug Power.
