order to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, the European Union is encouraging more sustainable modes of transport and <strong>especially the deployment of alternative fuel refuelling points<\/strong> in the EU.<\/p><p>The <strong>Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR)<\/strong>adopted in the summer 2023, sets targets for the number of hydrogen filling stations.<\/p><p>With regard to hydrogen refueling points, the EU sets:<\/p><ul><li>at least 1 point <strong>every 200 km<\/strong> on major routes by 2030<\/li><li>At least one point <strong>in every urban day<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a60f2c7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a60f2c7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The HRS40 hydrogen refuelling station has a daily compression capacity of <strong>1 ton of H2\/day<\/strong>. It provides hydrogen at<strong> 700 bar<\/strong>and 350 bar. It can refuel all types of vehicle, including heavy mobility vehicles.<\/p><p>Currently deployed across France, Spain, the UK and Germany, HRS stations will soon be rolled out in Italy and Portugal.<\/p><p>With 27 stations installed by the end of 2024, HRS hydrogen refueling solutions are tried and tested and offer an availability rate of over 95%.<\/p><p>4 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hydrogen-refueling-solutions.fr\/en\/hydrogen-refueling-stations\/hrs40\/\">HRS40<\/a> &#8211; <strong>AFIR compliant<\/strong> have been installed in 2024:<\/p><ul><li>Two of them in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hydrogen-refueling-solutions.fr\/en\/references\/clients\/hympulsion-2\/\">Hympulsion <\/a>: at Malataverne (26, France) and Lyon Saint-Exupery (69, France).<\/li><li>One for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hydrogen-refueling-solutions.fr\/en\/references\/clients\/seven-en-2\/\">Seven<\/a> at Saint-Sulpice-la-Pointe (81, France).<\/li><li>One at HRS' headquarters in Champagnier (38, France) on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hydrogen-refueling-solutions.fr\/en\/strengths\/collaborative-research-and-development-centre\/\">testing area<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul><p>Compatible with all types of hydrogen mobility, they have the advantage of being scalable and of <strong>adaptable to all types of hydrogen sources<\/strong> : pipelines, tube trailers, carbon-free hydrogen produced on site by electrolysis, etc.<\/p><p>In line with the specifications of the AFIR regulation, HRS provides solutions in line with European policies for deploying
